😷 The pandemic hit the automotive industry hard, but there was one type of vehicle that managed to power ahead despite the downturn. The electric car.
🚗 Last year, a record 3 million new electric cars were registered, which is a 41 percent increase from the previous year.
🌍 By comparison, the global automobile market contracted 16 percent in 2020.
