🏛️ They’ve survived civil war, natural disasters and now a pandemic – and now Madrid’s Museo del Prado and its neighboring royal park are hoping to become a UNESCO World Heritage site.
🖼️ For 200 years the Prado and Retiro area has provided locals and visitors alike with cultural enjoyment, in a natural setting. The museum has 15,000 paintings, drawings, engravings and sculptures, while the park provides a respite from city life.
