The dispose of garbage has been an issue in Latin America for decades. Now it became a diplomatic discord between the two countries. There are heaps of trash on the beaches of Honduras, they came from Guatemala along with the tides. The local economy has been affected by all the garbage on the beach. With the rainy season on the way, the situation could get even worse.
